Iran has stated that it is prepared for a long conflict with the United States and Israel and that it has not yet used its most advanced weapons.
Iranian Defense Ministry spokesman General Reza Talaa-Nik said Tehran has the capacity to continue an "offensive defense" for longer than its adversary anticipates, in what he described as an "imposed war."
" We have the ability to resist and pursue an offensive defense strategy longer than the enemy anticipates for this imposed war, " he declared, according to the Iranian state news agency Irna.
The general added that Iran does not intend to use all of its advanced weapons and equipment in the early days of the conflict. “ We do not intend to use all of our advanced weapons and equipment from the beginning ,” he stressed.
The statement comes at a time of escalating military clashes in the region, while tensions between Tehran, Washington and Tel Aviv remain high.
