Andi Mahila, the Deputy Minister of the Interior, has stated that the intervention of the police two days ago in the MEK camp in Manzë was made after suspicions that electronic tools were used there to carry out various cyber attacks against citizens, organizations and institutions.

In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", he said that with these actions, the Mujahedin have seriously violated one of the commitments that this organization has made towards the Albanian state.

" The police have done their duty, in accordance with the court's decision and the prosecutor's order number 262 dated June 19, 2023, of course on the basis of reasonable suspicions that it was thought that electronic means were used in order to carry out various cyber attacks against citizens, organizations and institutions.

The intervention was based on the operational plan implemented by the State Police and was announced by the general director of the police.

What happened has caused us regret for the way MEK members have reacted to the police operation based on law enforcement in Albania, an obligation that the MEK organization has taken on the Albanian state since before its members came to Albania .

With these actions of theirs, one of the commitments that this organization has made towards the Albanian state has been seriously violated, and we feel sorry because all these years the institutions have been committed to helping and protecting them against the threats they have had," said Mahila .
