The Committee to Protect Journalists has reported that 53 journalists and media workers have been killed since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.
According to the Press Protection Organization, which records casualties in Israel, the Gaza Strip and the Lebanese border, among the journalists who lost their lives, 46 were Palestinian, four were Israeli and three were Lebanese.
The report was updated following the death of two journalists from the Lebanese television network Al Mayadeen on Tuesday during Israeli bombing in southern Lebanon, according to the country's authorities.
Also, 11 journalists have been injured and three are missing since the start of the war on October 7.
"Journalists in Gaza are exposed to high risks as they try to cover the Israeli onslaught, devastating airstrikes, damaged communications, supply shortages and massive power outages," the Committee to Protect Journalists comments on its website.
