The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, said that he is worried about the unilateral actions of Kosovo. According to him, these actions do not give a good signal for the normalization of relations with Serbia.
In the joint press conference with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, held in Belgrade, Macron said that France will "monitor the conditions in which the Serbian community lives in Kosovo".
"In this respect, we are particularly committed to the formation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority ," he said.
Macron has stated that his main message is determination and confidence to improve Kosovo-Serbia relations.
"We will continue to support European mediation, in order to achieve progress in relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which are key for the Western Balkans region, and your relations with all partners will improve, and we will have free movement and a better life for people", Macron said.
Also, the president of France has supported Serbia, saying that Vucic has a place in the European Union.
