Montenegro was hit today by an earthquake of medium strength, three kilometers northwest of Çaragje.
According to the reports of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology, the earthquake was registered at 12:40 and had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale, located at a depth of 15 kilometers and was followed by another weaker one, with a magnitude of 2.8.
"Based on the theoretical model of the macroseismic field of this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, this earthquake could have caused only minor material damage in the area of the epicenter," the statement said.
An average earthquake of 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded last night at 21:07, four kilometers west of Čarađe.
