In his usual evening speech, reported by Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Russians are “deceiving America,” but Ukraine will not allow this. “Our team is working with the United States. The Russians are trying to deceive America. But we will not allow it,” he said.
Vance: We are working on a trilateral summit
The White House is working on a "calendar to determine when" Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky "can sit down and discuss ending the conflict," Vice President JD Vance said. According to reports reported by CNN, the White House remains open to the possibility of a three-way meeting, but for now, the priority is the meeting between Putin and Trump.
Moscow continues the bombing
Six people were killed in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions on Sunday, authorities said. The Russian offensive has focused on eastern Ukraine, where it has intensified its advances against its less well-equipped opponents in recent months. Moscow's attacks also wounded about twenty people when a flying bomb hit a crowded bus station in the city of Zaporizhzhia, local authorities said, adding that a search and rescue operation was underway.
