The Russian Defense Ministry published two lists of companies in Europe on April 15 that it claims are producing drones or components for Ukraine. A senior Kremlin official described the companies as potential targets for Russian forces.
According to data published by Russian authorities, the first list, titled "Branches of Ukrainian companies in Europe," includes 11 companies in cities such as London, Munich, Riga, Vilnius, and Prague.
The second list, "Foreign companies producing components," includes 10 other companies, headquartered in Madrid, Venice, and Haifa, among others.
The Russian ministry stated that the publication of these lists aims to inform European citizens about what it considers to be sources of risk to their security, citing the presence of companies that, according to it, produce drones for Ukraine on European territory.
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, reacted on the X network by describing the publication as a "list of possible targets for the Russian armed forces," adding that future developments will determine whether these targets will be hit.
" And whether these attacks will become a reality depends on what will follow. Sleep well, European partners! ", he added.
At the same time, media reports have questioned the accuracy of some of the data on the lists, as one of the addresses included in Munich turns out to be a residential building.
The publication of the lists comes a day after a meeting in Berlin between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. According to Ukrainian authorities, several models of drones produced in cooperation between Ukrainian and German companies were presented during the meeting.
That same day, Germany and Ukraine reached an agreement on a defense package worth about 4 billion euros, which includes financing the supply of hundreds of missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
