"Drone wall" on the Russian border, NATO's special plan - to stop

She stated that the wall will be built with a complex and highly complicated technology with surveillance systems, drones and other technologies.

The launch of Russian aggression in Ukraine on February 24, 2022 changed the world forever. A war that was set to end within 2 weeks has entered its third year and the achievement of peace still seems a long way off.

Over time, the Russian military has recovered and Putin's war machine has started up again and is becoming more formidable. The whole country has been put to the function of producing armaments to face the war with the west. This has scared the countries neighboring Russia, which do not want to understand that when Putin is done with Ukraine, he will start the next invasion.

Based on this, the EU, NATO members, Lithuania and five other states near the border with Russia agreed to erect a "drone wall" for protection against provocations, "AFP" reports.

The plan to use unmanned aerial vehicles for defense was agreed due to security concerns in the region amid Russia's war in Ukraine.

The project was announced by Lithuania's interior minister, Agne Bilotaite, after talks with her counterparts from other Baltic states such as Estonia and Latvia, as well as Finland, Norway and Poland.

She stated that the wall will be built with a complex and highly complicated technology with surveillance systems, drones and other technologies.

" This is a completely new thing, a drone wall that stretches from Norway to Poland, and the goal is to use drones and other technologies to protect our borders. Not only with physical infrastructure, surveillance systems, but also with drones and other technologies, which will allow us to protect ourselves from provocations from unfriendly countries and prevent smuggling ," she told the "BNS" news agency.

In addition to deploying drones to monitor the border, countries will also use anti-drone systems to stop enemy UAVs.

Although Bilotaite revealed the plan, she did not give a time frame for when this sophisticated defense strategy could be implemented./Pamphlet
