Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is having an emergency phone conversation with his cabinet regarding the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling that forces Israel to stop the attack on Gaza.
The Foreign Minister, the Minister of Strategic Affairs, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Defense, the head of the National Security Council and the Attorney General are all speaking with Netanyahu, a statement from the Prime Minister's Office said.
Israel's far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir have already responded to Friday's ruling.
In a statement, Smotrich said those "demanding that the State of Israel stop the war" are asking that Israel "decree itself to cease to exist."
"We will not agree to this... If we surrender our weapons, the enemy will reach the beds of our children and women across the country ," Smotrich added.
Ben Gvir also responded to the order in a statement on Friday, calling the ICJ anti-Semitic.
" The trivial order of the anti-Semitic court in The Hague must have only one answer: the occupation of Rafah, the increase of military pressure and the complete defeat of Hamas - until the total victory in the war is achieved ," he said.
