A bright comet will be visible in skies across the globe for the first time in 160,000 years.
The comet will also be at its closest point to Earth and could become the brightest of the year.
None of the others after it may be visible to the naked eye during 2025.
Experts believe the comet, which could shine as brightly as the planet Venus, could be best seen in the southern hemisphere of the Earth.
People must look toward the eastern horizon before sunrise, and the western horizon after sunset to see it.
However, experts emphasize that daytime viewing may be dangerous not because of the comet, but rather because of the Sun's glare that can cause severe retinal damage.
Meanwhile, astronomers have been tracking the comet's path. NASA astronaut Don Pettit shared this photo on social media of the comet taken from the International Space Station.
