Ilir Beqaj from prison to the Commission/ The last two days of the Health

In a challenge with time due to the end of the deadline, the Investigative Commission for Health Concessions enters its most important phase: the hearings with the former Ministers of Health and Economy who were directly involved in the procedures for granting sterilization concessions and Check-Up.

In just 2 days, ministers and ex-ministers, including Ilir Beqajn, under charges for the sterilization concession, but who is in prison for the SASPAC case, will testify before the commission.

The SP vice president in this commission, Plarent Ndreca, announced a few days ago that the hearings will start in the morning and will be a marathon to finish within the deadline.

What is not known is the participation of the opposition. Although the initiator of the establishment of this commission, as it accuses that through these two concessions not only money was stolen from the state budget, but also that the citizens were not given the right services, the opposition for several weeks has prevented the normal development of meetings in this commission, because of the chaos inside the parliament, but also boycotted the meetings called by Plarent Ndreca with the argument that they are illegal.

The Investigative Commission for health concessions is expected to close its work with these 2 days of marathon hearings. The deadline for its completion is October 22, but the mayor of Albana Vokshi has stated that the postponement of the deadline will be requested for the second time, a request that the socialists have warned will not be accepted.

The Investigative Commission for concessions in health was established after the PD-SP pact in March of this year, 6 months after the Democratic Party brought parliamentary life into chaos. The pact lasted a little, because in almost 8 months of work, the commission's work often came to a standstill due to not finding a common language between DP and SP. / Shqiptarja.com
