The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has admitted that he met with the organizer of the attack in Banjska, Kosovo, before it happened.
In a television interview, Vucic said that he asked the terrorists to trust the Americans and Europeans for the guarantee that no one would be arrested for the barricades in the north of Kosovo.
"Three nights in a row I met with them. There were Radoicic, Simic, and 10 other men. By signing, they guaranteed that the Albanians would not arrest anyone who was at the barricades. And when they signed, three months later the arrests began," said the Serbian president.
Vucic promised that the perpetrators will be prosecuted.
He also spoke about what turned it into an international issue, the ban on the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo.
He underlined that there is no hope that the United Nations Security Council will hold a session on this topic.
"There are 15 seats in the Council, nine have recognized Kosovo, six have not," said Vucic.
