Polish authorities have intercepted a drone flying over government areas in the capital Warsaw, where important state residences are located.
This was announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in X, emphasizing that the action was taken by the State Security Service (SSP) as part of increased measures due to recent tensions in the region.
Meanwhile, two Belarusian citizens have been arrested, while police are investigating the circumstances and purpose of the drone mission.
The incident comes just days after repeated violations of Poland's airspace by Russian drones, sharply increasing concerns about national security and threats coming from the east.
