The American police publishes the footage, the moment when the officer kills the 21-year-old pregnant woman (Video)

The police in the US state of Ohio have released footage of the murder of a pregnant woman, which sparked public outrage.

Footage released Friday showed the slaying of the pregnant 21-year-old in a Blendon Township grocery store parking lot on Aug. 24. Authorities said the child also did not survive the shooting.

Blendon City Police Chief John Belford has characterized the incident as a "tragedy" that occurred when police tried to detain Young after she was accused of shoplifting.
