US proposal to end the war, great confusion about Iran's response!

There has been great confusion surrounding Iran's response to the US proposal to end the war. Various news agencies and Iranian state media have reported that Tehran has responded "negatively" to the US proposal to end the war, but there are conflicting statements on whether it has rejected it outright.

Reuters news agency, citing a senior Iranian official, reported that Tehran's initial response to the proposal was not "positive," but that it was still considering it.

This contradicts a report by Iranian state broadcaster Press TV, which quoted a senior political security official as saying that Tehran has rejected the proposal, while presenting its own conditions for ending the war.

-A ban on "aggression and killings."

-Concrete mechanisms to ensure that Iran will not be attacked again.

-Payment of war damages and reparations.

-An end to the war on all fronts and for all resistance groups involved throughout the region.

-International recognition and guarantees regarding Iran's authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency, citing an "informed source," reported that Tehran will not accept a ceasefire and believes it would not be "logical" to enter into talks.

According to reports, the US has shared a 15-point list with Iran via Pakistan, with Donald Trump saying that Iran wanted "so badly" a deal to end the war.

Several news agencies, including Reuters, the Associated Press and AFP, have reported that Pakistani officials have said the country has submitted the proposal to Iran and is awaiting a response.

So far, Iran and Pakistan have not officially commented on the proposal, but there are suggestions that negotiations could take place as early as this weekend.

Two senior Trump administration officials told CNN that talks are underway for US Vice President JD Vance to travel to Pakistan or potentially Turkey, but cautioned that the timing of the expected trip is uncertain.
