The march of Wagner's forces towards Moscow came to a dramatic end yesterday. Russian President Vladimir Putin suffered severe damage to his armor.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, Wagner's boss, who is also known as "Putin's Butcher", reportedly came within 120 miles of Moscow before agreeing to a deal to go to Belarus that was brokered by the country's authoritarian ruler Alexander Lukashenko.

Rebekah Koffler, a former US defense intelligence officer, told Fox News Digital that Putin is viewed by the West as weaker after Wagner's threat to his power.
Koffler added that: " Putin is perceived by many Russian people in Russia, in general, as stronger because he drove out the Wagner traitors who betrayed the president and the nation and saved the country. "
Koffler added that the reality is "Putin is neither stronger nor weaker. His hold on power remains the same as before. He has taken some measures to tighten his grip on power."
She said Putin has introduced an anti-terror operation "which increases security measures in Russia. It is a form of martial law, a legal regime that allows for a range of temporary measures and restrictions.
Putin's state of anxiety over fears that he is losing power is said to have led him to take a host of other measures to prevent unrest in Russia.
According to Koffler, Putin was always worried about popular uprisings. He has set up a special branch of the Rosgvardia service, the 340,000-strong National Guard with the sole purpose of monitoring the leading indicators of an uprising and suppressing it.
He also set up the National Defense Center, a wartime structure that conducts 24/7 monitoring of internal and external threats.
In an interview with "Fox and Friends Weekend", Rep. Ukrainian-born Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Ind., echoed Kasparov's criticism, saying Russia is a country run by criminals.
According to her, Putin is afraid.
Speaking on ABC's This Week, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said: " When you're challenged from within, as Putin has been in recent days, that also raises deep questions.
