After the closing of the ballot boxes in Greece, the counting of votes has started and currently the New Democracy party of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is leading, with a margin of more than 22% from SYRIZA of Alexis Tsipras.

According to reports from the Greek election commission, it is learned that more than 63.88 percent of the votes have been counted so far. From the results so far, eight parties are expected to receive deputies in the next Parliament.

With over 63 percent of the votes counted, the New Democracy of Kyriakos Mitsotakis has received - 40.4 percent, while SYRIZA of Alexis Tsipras - 17.81 percent. In third place comes the PASOK/KINAL coalition with 12.37 percent of the votes.

While the other parties received respectively: KKE: 7, 42 percent/ Spartans: 4.74 percent/ Greek solution: 4.57 percent/ VICTORY: 3.79 percent/ Free navigation: 3.08 percent

At the level of mandates, the percentages are "translated" as follows:

New Democracy 158 MPs/ SYRIZA 47 MPs/ PASOK 32 MPs/ KKE 20 MPs/ Spartans 13 MPs/ Hellenic Solution 12 MPs/ Victory Party 10 MPs/ Freedom Cruise: 8 MPs.
