The United States released footage of President Donald J. Trump and senior administration officials watching the military operation against Iran, which began in the early hours of the morning under the name "Operation Epic Fury."
The photos show the president and his national security team in an operations room, monitoring developments on the ground in real time, through maps and military communications systems. The meeting was attended by senior administration officials and representatives of security structures.
According to official American reports, the operation targeted strategic targets in Iranian territory, as part of a coordinated campaign with Israel to strike Tehran's military and ballistic capabilities.
The attack took place in the morning, while the release of the footage came a few hours later, confirming the direct involvement of the highest leadership chain in monitoring the operation.
The US administration has not yet provided full details on the damage balance, while the situation in the region remains tense following the countermeasures warned by Tehran.
