The resolution on Srebrenica, Ana Bërnabič explodes: Shame, it does not
The Speaker of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said that the proposal of a resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica is a "farce" and that she has never been more worried about peace in the Balkans than now.

"I invite everyone from the European Union (EU) to ask themselves what Bosnia and Herzegovina will look like after the resolution is voted on. Will it be a more peaceful, more stable country, where there is greater understanding between Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs, or more unstable," she told TV Pink in Serbia.

Brnabic stated that, first of all, this was done by Germany, and then by all those from the European Union and all those who will vote for the resolution. She asked how the Serbs will feel today in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Republika Srpska, in the Federation.

"Shame on you, especially on you from Germany, shame on you, what you are doing to the people in the Balkans, to all the people in the Balkans, first of all to the Serbian people, but also to everyone in the Balkans. This is not bringing anyone anything good", said Bërnabič.

The United Nations General Assembly will vote on May 23 on a resolution declaring July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide and condemning genocide denial and the glorification of war criminals. The sponsors of the resolution are Germany and Rwanda, while 32 countries are co-sponsors, including the United States, France, Great Britain and Italy.
