A race is underway to find the crew of the American plane that the Iranians shot down, which has also been confirmed by the Americans.
According to the Iranian Fars news agency, the Iranian military is searching for the American pilot of the downed American fighter jet in southern Iran. The Americans are also searching for the same person.
Images of the Pasdaran Army recovering parts of the plane reinforce the idea that it was ejected before it crashed. The Revolutionary Guard, known as the "Pasdaran" or "Sepah", posted on its "X" account images of the ejection seat of the US fighter jet that Iran claims it shot down today. "The fact that the seat remained intact shows that the pilot is alive," the post said, accompanied by the hashtag "The Last Battle."

The Iranian Tasnim news agency also reports unverified videos and images allegedly showing US helicopters and planes flying over the skies of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad searching for the pilot, as well as unconfirmed reports of clashes between US forces and the IRGC in the area.
Meanwhile, public broadcaster IRIB broadcast an announcement to residents of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces: “Arrest the enemy pilot(s) and hand them over alive to the authorities in exchange for a high reward.”
This appeal effectively transformed the pursuit of the pilot into a political mobilization, led by the Iranian authorities.
A presenter for a local Iranian state TV channel in the southern Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province has said: "If you capture an enemy pilot or pilots and hand them over alive to the police or military forces, you will receive a valuable reward." https://t.co/UwB42nANcb pic.twitter.com/C9bNuluYzs
