It was the first time since the start of the war that American aircraft had been destroyed by enemy fire. Two other F-15s had been hit by friendly fire, as had a KC-135 Stratotanker tanker, which crashed in Iraq with six crew members, all of whom died.

A US F-15E fighter jet crashed over Iranian territory yesterday, marking one of the largest US losses inside the country since the conflict began on February 28.

The plane had two people on board, a pilot and a weapons officer. According to reports from American media, one of them was rescued by American special forces, while the search for the second person continues.

Meanwhile, an Iranian television channel has announced that a $60,000 reward has been set for citizens who manage to capture the missing American pilot and hand him over to police or military authorities.

A statement addressed to residents of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces said:
"Military forces have launched a search operation for the downed American pilot earlier today. Dear citizens, if you capture the enemy pilot alive and hand him over to the police or military forces, you will be rewarded with 60 thousand dollars," the reaction read.

According to American sources, photos and videos published on social media and in Iranian media show American helicopters and other aircraft flying at low altitude over the crash site, as part of search and rescue operations.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump says that "with a little more time, we could easily take control of the Strait of Hormuz, secure the oil, and make huge profits."

Today, US-Israeli attacks on the B1 bridge in the city of Karaj west of Tehran killed 8 people and injured about 95 others. The bridge was under construction and the longest in the Middle East and was planned to serve as a military supply route intended to support Iran's ballistic missile and attack drone capabilities.

Trump continues to call for Iran to reach a ceasefire agreement before it's too late for them. "It's time for Iran to make a deal before it's too late and there's nothing left of what could have been a great country," Trump took to social media.

After the bridge destruction, Trump warns of attacks on power plants.

"Our military, the largest and most powerful (by far!) in the world, has not even begun to destroy what is left of Iran. The bridges are next, then the power plants! The New Regime leadership knows what needs to be done, and it needs to be done fast!" Trump wrote.

The Israeli military announced the elimination of Makram Atimi, commander of the Ballistic Missile Unit in the Kermanshah area in western Iran, responsible for launches into Israel.
