Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted sharply after Russian military aircraft violated Estonian airspace, calling the incident "unacceptable."
Zelensky stressed in a public statement that this action is not a coincidence, but part of a clear Kremlin strategy against NATO countries and the West in general.
"This is not a coincidence. It is a systematic Russian campaign against Europe, against NATO, against the West," the Ukrainian president said.
He called for a joint and coordinated response from Western allies, stressing that Moscow's actions require strong and immediate measures.
"A systematic response is needed. Strong actions are needed, both jointly and from each country individually," he declared.
Zelensky added that Russia must face serious consequences and feel "growing pains from international pressure," calling for the intensification of sanctions and diplomatic isolation of the Kremlin.
