The Israeli military plans to continue its military campaign against Iran for at least another three weeks, as "thousands of targets still remain," said Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin.

In an interview with CNN, Defrin said that the operations are planned in coordination with the United States and could last beyond a few weeks.

" We have thousands of targets ahead of us. We are prepared, in coordination with our American allies, with plans that extend at least until the Jewish holiday of Passover, about three weeks from now. We also have broader plans for another three weeks after that ," he said.

According to the Israeli military, since the start of the campaign against Iran on February 28, the Israeli air force has carried out around 400 waves of airstrikes in western and central regions of Iran. The operations have focused on destroying military infrastructure and neutralizing units related to missiles, air defense and military production.

Israeli officials say the United States and Israel have already struck thousands of targets since the start of the war.

Defrin emphasized that the Israeli army does not act according to a specific deadline, but according to the achievement of its military objectives.

" We do not operate by a stopwatch or a specific calendar, but according to the achievement of our goals ," he said, adding that the goal is to seriously weaken the Iranian regime.
