The head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin in his new statement openly attacked the Russian army because, as he says, it did not recognize the commitment of the fighters of the Wagner group who participated in the "taking" of Bakhmut.
However, after more than a year of fierce fighting and a large number of Russian soldiers killed, the leader of the notorious Russian group claimed to have managed to take control of the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine.
However, Kiev immediately reacted by saying that nothing has changed on the ground, and that the Ukrainian army is there defending its positions and will not allow the city to be taken over by the Russians at any moment.

Bakhmuti has become the hot spot of the war in Ukraine, where Prigozhin himself has admitted that tens of thousands of Wagner's fighters have been killed trying to advance there.
He even attacked the Russian army for not sending weapons and ammunition to his fighters, which according to Prigozhin are being used as cannon fodder.
