Three opposition members of the Serbian Parliament, Miroslav Aleksic, Aleksandar Jovanovic Cuta and Danijela Nestorovic, were met with abuse and insults by Serbian protesters in Zvecan. They were insulted and accused by supporters of the Serbian List, of having strong ties with Vucic.
Jovanovic, the head of the Ecological Uprising Movement, said during his speech that the visit was made to personally support Serbian citizens and expressed his concern about the pressure that Serbia is exerting on the protesters.
"There is no big difference between what is happening here and in Serbia, if we talk about the pressure exerted on people" , said Jovanovic Cuta.
MP Nestorovic also reacted to the actions of the protesters.
"I just can't believe the amount of aggression and violence. We are the same people. We care for the Serbian people in whatever territory they are. This is our country and we simply have a common interest", said Nestorovic.
The opposition MPs have also visited other municipalities in the north of Kosovo, where the Serbs keep the municipal buildings blocked.
