At a press conference yesterday evening, Donald Trump said that the US will "lead" Venezuela until a "proper transition" occurs;
He said this would also include the entry of American oil firms into the country, which would "start making money for the country";
But it is unclear how the US plan will work, as Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez uses a very different tone from Trump, saying the country "will never be a colony" of any nation and that Maduro is the "only" president.
