Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic thanked the search and rescue teams and volunteer citizens who worked tirelessly to save the citizens who were under the rubble.
Vučić requested from the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad and the Government of Serbia that the persons responsible for this be severely punished.
"When I say the Government of Serbia, I mean political, but also criminal responsibility," said Vucic.
He stated that it is unbelievable that everything has been renovated, and that only the tent has not been renovated after 60 years.
The consortium of Chinese companies CRIC-CCCC announced that the concrete cover of the railway station that collapsed today in Novi Sad, was not the object of works within the reconstruction of the station, in accordance with the approved construction permit.
