The police in Bolivia have undertaken an operation in San Miguel de Velasco, to capture the persons responsible for the recent murders in San Ignacio. During the operation, an exchange of fire took place, where an individual managed to escape after shooting at the police forces.
It is suspected that this individual may be one of the perpetrators of the murders.
Among those arrested are two Brazilian citizens, a Paraguayan, a Bolivian and an Albanian. Also, five women were arrested at the scene. The arrested Brazilian turns out to be Lourival Maximo Da Fonseca with precedents in Brazil for drug and arms trafficking, criminal organization and money laundering. It is also required in Paraguay, Peru and Colombia.
The arrested have been transferred to the prison of Santa Cruz.
