As the number of countries opposing Israel's decision to occupy Gaza grows, new signs are emerging from the Israeli camp. An anonymous official, in a statement to Keshet 12, said that there is a possibility that Hamas will return to the negotiating table.
According to the source, large supplies of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip are weakening Hamas' campaign to stoke hunger resentment.
"Hamas understands that the videos of hungry hostages are damaging their image, and this could push them towards resuming talks ," the official said.
