Among the more than 180,000 images released by the US Department of Justice, three photos have attracted the most attention. They show Prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor kneeling over a woman with her face covered, lying on the floor, in a scene that appears to have been taken at Jeffrey Epstein's New York residence. The exact time of the shooting remains unclear.

The images are added to a series of documents that burden the former British prince, expelled from the royal family by decision of King Charles due to his ties to the financier. From the archives emerge emails from 2010, after Epstein's first conviction, in which Prince Andrew invites his friend to the royal residence. "We could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and enjoy complete privacy," he writes. Then, Andrew sends him another message: "I'm glad you came."

Sarah Ferguson also appears to be very close to Epstein. In one email, she calls him “an extraordinary friend, a legend,” while in another she thanks him for being “the brother I always wanted.” The documents also show repeated requests for financial help. “I need $20,000. Any ideas?” she writes. Epstein claims to have helped her for 15 years.

Dozens of other embarrassing emails have surfaced in the so-called Epstein Library. President Donald Trump is mentioned in at least 4,500 documents, according to the New York Times. One of them includes serious sexual assault allegations collected over the years by the FBI, which remain unverified sources and unproven allegations.

The documents also mention messages between Ghislaine Maxwell and an email address associated with Bill Clinton. “I really like her  ,” Maxwell writes, pouring out intimate praise.

Richard Branson invites Epstein to a meeting, but only “if you bring your harem.” Sergey Brin talks to Maxwell and admits to visiting Epstein’s island. Brett Ratner is pictured on a couch with a young girl, while Epstein is holding another girl next to him. Steve Tisch writes to Epstein about “a very sweet girl I saw at your house.” The financier’s response is cold: “ She’s Russian, very entertaining.

Tisch has denied ever accepting invitations from Epstein. Elon Musk has also denied everything. Despite the publication of dozens of messages asking to visit Epstein's island, Musk wrote: "I have declined repeated invitations from him. But I am aware that these emails could be used to tarnish my name."

While many famous names are mentioned, hundreds more remain obscured by the Justice Department's censorship. What has not been censored are the identities of several girls, victims of Epstein and Maxwell's sexual exploitation network.

Through lawyers, the victims react harshly: "They sell us transparency, but in reality they expose us. Once again, our names are made public, while the men who abused them remain hidden."

Even Keir Starmer intervened yesterday.

"Anyone who has information should be willing to share it. Victims should be the priority." The statement is seen as a direct reference to Prince Andrew, who was asked by the US Congress last year to testify about his relationship with Epstein./ Corriere della Sera
