The G7 leaders also welcomed the preliminary peace agreement between the US and Iran, which will be officially signed on Friday, and said they are ready to contribute to its implementation.
France and Britain have offered to lead a mission that would facilitate the reopening of Hormuz. They added that they will make efforts to diversify energy sources to reduce dependence on the Strait of Hormuz.
