A friend of Barron Trump's daughter has revealed that he saved her life by calling the police after seeing her ex-boyfriend beating her during a FaceTime call.
The girl, whose name has not been made public, told a London court that she had called Trump in January 2025 after her ex-boyfriend, Matvey Rumyantsev, allegedly started beating her because he was jealous.
US President Donald Trump's son contacted authorities in the United Kingdom, telling the 911 operator: "I just got a call from a girl I know. She's being beaten."
He stressed that the situation is urgent. The court where the case was heard also showed body camera footage from the arrival of the police, which showed officers telling the woman that someone from the United States had contacted them.
"I'm friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump's son," the girl tells authorities, explaining that she had previously called him via FaceTime.
One of the officers is then heard telling a colleague that the American informant is likely to be Donald Trump's son.
Officers later asked her to call Trump again to confirm what he told them, with the video recording her saying: "Hey, Barron, did you call the police or something?"
Then the Baron replies that "I had someone call the police."
Matvei Rumiantsev, 22, is on trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, charged with assault and two counts of rape, among other things, against the alleged victim, whose name cannot be mentioned for legal reasons.
He denies assault, bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional homicide and obstruction of justice by pressuring the woman to withdraw her charges.
