The Israel Defense Forces declare that they are striking the Iranian regime's military infrastructure and the most sensitive targets of the ballistic missile system.
Israel has launched a new wave of airstrikes on the Iranian capital Tehran, the Israeli military announced on Wednesday evening. According to the Israel Defense Forces, the warplanes are striking targets related to the Iranian regime's military infrastructure.
The Israeli military said the operation included airstrikes on several areas of the city and targeted military capabilities linked to Iran's missile program.
According to the military, this wave of attacks follows a series of strikes carried out earlier on Wednesday, during which dozens of facilities linked to Iran's ballistic missile arsenal were destroyed.
This operation constitutes the eleventh wave of attacks that Israel has carried out against Tehran since February 28, indicating a continued escalation of the conflict between the two countries.
Israeli army spokeswoman Effie Defrin stated during a press conference that Israel will continue military operations without interruption.
"We have hit the regime with great force and we do not intend to stop for a moment. We are hitting its most sensitive and important targets and undermining its stability," Defrin said.
The latest attacks on Tehran come at a time when tensions between Israel and Iran have risen sharply following the military clash that erupted in late February and has already included a series of air strikes and missile attacks across the region.
