A person has been arrested after threatening the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. The news was announced on Thursday by the Serbian Minister of the Interior, Ivica Dacic.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs said that a man from Sombor has been arrested for threatening the security of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
"Due to the threat of jeopardizing the security of the President of the Republic, DM from Sombori was arrested and ordered to be detained for 48 hours by the police", says the announcement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On Wednesday afternoon, President Vučić declared on the X social network that he is shocked by the assassination and that he is praying for the health of Serbia's great friend, Robert Fiçon, and immediately after that threatening messages appeared under his post saying that he will to be the next target.
The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, is in a serious health condition after being injured in an assassination attempt on May 15 at noon.
The Slovak authorities have stated that the gun attack on the Prime Minister of the country, Robet Fico, was politically motivated.
While the Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Robert Kalinak, stated that Fico has undergone an operation and that he is "in serious condition for life".
In a press conference outside the hospital, the minister said that the doctors are doing everything possible for the life of the prime minister, who suffered "severe polytrauma after several shots".
He described the event as "the most serious in the history of Slovakia".
