"You don't have to come, I want to see him face to face"/ Putin

"Be realistic with it"/ International media reveal details from Putin-Trump phone call

New details have emerged from the phone call that President Donald Trump had yesterday with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to international media, the American president immediately offered him a three-way meeting, which would include him, Putin, and Zelensky, but according to sources from Politico, Putin refused, stating that he wanted to meet only with the Ukrainian president: " You don't have to come, I want to see him face to face ."

But Ukraine "immediately rejected" the proposal, Dmytro Lytvyn, an adviser to Volodymyr Zelensky, told the BBC, confirming the news.

However, a senior Trump administration official said that the US president's team has immediately begun preparations for a trilateral meeting. Steve Witkoff, according to sources, has been assigned to coordinate and conduct the meeting, implying that the US administration sees it as a strategic opportunity to facilitate dialogue between the two leaders.

According to Axios, during the conversation, Putin also mentioned the possibility of China acting as a guarantor of a deal between Russia and Ukraine. This element indicates that the Russian leader is considering ways to increase the credibility of an eventual agreement in the international arena, including Beijing's global power.

Trump also advised Putin to be realistic in his talks with Zelensky, stressing the importance of dialogue on territorial issues. This advice comes at a time when tensions in the region remain high and any move towards direct talks is seen as critical to further stability.

International experts estimate that a direct meeting between Putin and Zelensky could mark a significant change in the diplomatic approach, but warn that challenges remain great, especially regarding international guarantees and the parties' commitments to implement any possible agreement.

This development comes at a time when the United States and its Western partners are trying to maintain a diplomatic network that enables safe and stable negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, while the situation on the ground remains complex and volatile. /Pamphlet
