The Chief of General Staff of the Israeli army (IDF), Eyal Zamir, stated that the military operation against Iran has achieved about half of its objectives, emphasizing that the strikes of recent weeks have significantly weakened Tehran's capabilities.
According to him, the direction of operations is clear and military actions will continue in the coming days. Zamir emphasized that the attacks of the last three weeks have brought significant consequences for Iran in military, economic and governance terms.
" The regime is weaker and more exposed, while its defensive capabilities have been significantly reduced ," he said, adding that Iranian leaders are "hit and disoriented."
Zamir also touched on a recent development, mentioning Iran's launch of a ballistic missile with a range of about 4,000 kilometers towards the US-British base in Diego Garcia, in the Indian Ocean. He emphasized that this missile was not targeting Israel, but its capacity puts part of Europe at risk.
❗️The Iranian terrorist regime launched a long-range missile for the first time since the start of Operation Roaring Lion that could reach a distance of ~4,000 km.

He also emphasized close cooperation with the United States, describing it as a key element of strategic strength in this campaign.
" Partnership with the US is a great advantage in this operation ," Zamir declared, warning that threats that are not addressed in time could escalate in the future.
