An Israeli security official has raised questions about the condition of Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stating that he is alive, but his condition remains unclear, Ynet reports.
According to this source, there is a "high probability" that Khamenei is injured and conscious, but unable to appear in public.
The source adds that it is currently the Revolutionary Guards that run the country and communicate on its behalf, which according to him suggests an unusual situation in the power structures in Iran.
" Something very strange is happening ," the source was quoted as saying, highlighting the lack of transparency about the Iranian leader's real condition.
The claims have not been confirmed by Iranian authorities and remain independently unverified.
