Former President Donald Trump commented during a speech at the National Guard Association conference in Detroit, Ukraine's offensive in Russia.
He warned that Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory could lead to World War III.
He opposed Ukraine's recent advance into western Russia.
"Look at what is happening in Ukraine. They are entering Russia. You will have World War III," said the former US president.
The Republican candidate also blamed the Biden-Harris administration for continuing to support Ukraine and lack of ammunition supplies to the US military.
Trump appeared to be referring to a report that found the US would be "out of weapons" within three to four weeks if it got into a war with China.
Trump's latest attack on Harris and Biden came as a Fairleigh Dickinson University poll released a few days ago showed the Democrat seven points ahead of the Republican rival.
Meanwhile, an Echelon Insights poll showed Trump with a 49% to 48% lead over Harris after Robert F Kennedy Jr suspended his independent campaign and threw his support behind Trump last week.
