US President Donald Trump has reiterated his ultimatum regarding the attack on power plants in the Islamic Republic. In an interview with Israeli television channel '13 News', Trump stressed that the consequences of this action will become clear soon, as he warned the regime in Tehran that they will be terrible.

"You'll soon find out what happens with the nuclear power plant ultimatum, the result will be very good. There will be total destruction of Iran and it will work great ," Trump said.

The US president did not fail to harshly criticize the NATO alliance and its behavior towards the regime in Tehran over the decades. He told Israeli media that the behavior of NATO countries was a great shame.

" NATO countries are doing nothing, it's a great shame. Iran has been very bad for 47 years. Now it's getting the punishment it deserves ," Trump added.

Earlier today, the Revolutionary Guard announced that it would completely close the Strait of Hormuz if US President Donald Trump carries out his threats to attack Iran's energy facilities.

The comments come after Trump threatened to "destroy" the Islamic Republic's nuclear power plants if Tehran does not reopen the strait within 48 hours.

"If Iran does not fully open, without threat, the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours - the US will attack and destroy its various power plants, starting with the largest first ," Trump wrote on TruthSocial.

Tehran quickly responded to the American ultimatum. The speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, attacked Trump, claiming he did not understand the nature of the conflict.

"I'm not sure if you have no idea who you're fighting or if you're just trying to intimidate. If you think you can defeat them this way, you're very naive ," Qalibaf wrote.

In an official statement, the Revolutionary Guards explained that in the event of a US attack, companies in the region in which the US has shares would be completely destroyed. It also said that energy facilities in countries in the region where US bases exist would become "legitimate targets" for an Iranian attack.
