Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has openly shown his territorial appetite, including Kosovo as part of his country's political and military map, despite claiming that he does not seek war, but only peace.
At the presentation of the national strategy "Serbia 2030", Vučić said they will invest six billion euros in weapons and military equipment, Danas reports.
"The Constitution of the Republic of Serbia states unequivocally that Kosovo is an autonomous province within Serbia. This is also written in the Charter and in the United Nations resolution, regardless of whether some in the world accept it or not. The only solution for Kosovo is dialogue! No conflicts or war, but dialogue, and only dialogue... Unfortunately, today we have no partner for talks, their only desire is the expulsion of Serbs from their centuries-old homeland. We must strengthen our schools, hospitals and people as the foundation of staying in Kosovo," Vučić said.
Vučić warned of continued interference in Kosovo's internal affairs, confirming that the state will support monasteries and churches.
Vučić announced that Serbia will maintain military neutrality and admitted that he is afraid of NATO.
"We have always had good relations with the Russian Federation, now we have increasingly good relations with the People's Republic of China. We must build good relations strategically and tactically with NATO countries, especially with the alliance, because we can no longer afford to fall victim to their attacks," Vučić added.
The Serbian president has sounded the alarm that the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran is turning into a global conflict. He even warned that the hotbeds of war will increase and that during the clashes, weapons that have only been used once in history will be released, referring to nuclear weapons.
"This is just the beginning of the conflict. The Americans will destroy the entire military infrastructure, the Iranians are brave people and they will fight, but at some point it will be clear whose force is dominant and a ceasefire will have to be reached. This is just the beginning of conflicts all over the world," Vučić said.
Among other things, the Serbian president announced the creation of a digital army, similar to what he said Israel possesses, and announced that a factory for the production of combat drones will soon be opened in cooperation with another country, a leader in that sector.
