Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, and Donald Trump, President of the United States, will meet on Sunday, December 28, in Florida.
"We have a full agenda and the meeting will take place this weekend, I believe on Sunday, in Florida, where we will see President Trump," the Ukrainian leader told reporters, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.
He said that we will discuss security guarantees and there are many documents in this package and we hope that we will find a way to discuss everything, noting that representatives of European countries may also partially participate in the talks.
"I will be in constant contact with them. We would like the Europeans to be present," Zelensky said, acknowledging the difficulty of a physical meeting.
"At least, we will be connected to the internet and our partners will communicate," he said.
The US's 20-point peace plan for Ukraine is "about 90% ready", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced.
"The 20-point plan we are working on is 90% ready. Our task is to make sure that everything is 100% ready. It is not easy, but we must get closer to the desired result with every meeting, with every discussion," Zelensky said.
The announced meeting is the latest development in a broad US-led diplomatic initiative to end the nearly four-year war in Ukraine, but the efforts have faced strong, conflicting demands from Moscow and Kiev.
