"Choose only victory", Netanyahu determined: We will deepen the

"We are deepening the operation in and around Gaza City. We are destroying the terrorists, the Nuhba terrorists who played a key role in the October 7 massacre."

With these words, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his statement, saying that Israel was 'deepening' the operation in Gaza, while the army carried out attacks on the city's largest urban center, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are seeking shelter.

"We are destroying terror infrastructures, we are destroying incriminating terror towers, and we have established another humanitarian zone to allow the civilian population in Gaza to leave for a safe place and receive humanitarian aid there. About 100,000 people have left Gaza so far. Hamas is trying to do everything so that they do not leave, so that they stay there and act as a human shield for it," Netanyahu said.

Even though Israel has been the focus of global criticism, as well as criticism from its own citizens, Netanyahu declared with conviction that he will choose victory above all else.

"If I have to choose between victory over our enemies and negative propaganda against us, I choose victory over our enemies and not the opposite: I don't want articles when we are defeated by our enemies, but positive, laudatory articles in the world media. I choose victory," Netanyahu said, among other things.

Earlier, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar told reporters in Jerusalem that the war could end immediately if Hamas released the remaining hostages being held in Gaza and surrendered its weapons.

In response, senior Hamas official Basem Naim told Reuters that it would not lay down its arms but would release all hostages if Israel agreed to end the war and withdraw its forces from Gaza, a stance that has long been the Palestinian militant group's position.
