Rama, the 'flower' that blooms on the 'manure' Berisha
Rama and Berisha /

When your political opponent is an unburned corpse, all you have to do is take a breath to be declared the winner. And Rama takes power again, not by force, but by his rotten opponent who feeds humanity with fear...

The May 11 elections were not a political triumph for the majority, but a funeral for the opposition led by Sali Berisha. No enthusiasm for Edi Rama, only fear of the return of the past. And this is not the victory of a government: it is the lack of an alternative.

The fanfares of the Renaissance began before dawn to declare "victory." But in reality, there is no victory when Albanians vote out of fear, not hope. What happened on May 11 was simply a survival of Rama thanks to the gogol Sali Berisha.

If Sali Berisha were not on the field, even a figure without charisma like Lulzim Basha would have received more. Albanians did not vote for the SP, they voted against the return of the terrible past that was brought back with arrogance and without remorse.

The non-existent opposition and the need for a true anti-Rama

Today we have a seemingly pluralistic panorama, where some new figures like Adriatik Lapaj, Arlind Qori, Agron Shehaj or Shabani have received a few votes. But none of them is yet an “anti-Rama”. Because to be anti-Rama, it is not enough to be an opponent of Rama: you have to be his opposite in morals, thought and formation.

An opposition leader who cannot quote either Hugo or Cervantes, who has no historical, literary, or political knowledge base, can be a candidate for the Municipality of Vora, but never for Prime Minister.

It is frightening to see opposition actors holding on to hair-sown imaginations rather than ideas planted in the minds of citizens. When Zani Çaushi quotes Spartak Ngjela as "the only politician", and Jaho Mulosmani donates books from prison, the opposition should blush, not for the deeds, but for the misery of thought.

When Berisha accuses Rama, the opposition remains silent because it recognizes the blame as its own.

Sali Berisha accuses Edi Rama's family of corruption every day. But the truth is that there is no opposition Albanian who does not know that the Berisha family has also been equally immersed. This makes every attack of his worthless, because it resembles a mirror that reflects the same image.

Today, the opposition has many people who are not with Berisha, but are against Rama. They voted as a sign of protest, not out of love for the DP. And these are the same people who could vote more strongly tomorrow, if they are offered a real, serious, prepared alternative.

The opposition does not need a Messiah or a savior with a mythical halo. It needs a serious, knowledgeable and ethical politician, who confronts Rama not with insults, but with vision. And this man does not yet exist. Until he comes, Rama will continue to win thanks to the fear that Berisha inspires.

If there is one lesson from May 11, it is this:
To oust Rama, you must oust Berisha. Not tomorrow! Today!
Because the country needs an opposition that is not simply anti-Rama in form, but anti-Rama in content./ Pamphlet
