If you had read us in time, there would have been fewer victims. Today is too late!
The pamphlet does not write warnings in vain. We said 50 days ago that an international crypto fraud base is operating in Tirana, under the name XUEX, which is robbing Albanian and foreign citizens.
We have made it public with facts, with documents, with an investigation. Meanwhile, the State Police, led by Mr. Ilir Proda, pretended not to hear it. It was silent! And today, after two months, with a criminal delay, it tells us that investigations into the TXEX scheme have begun, and that we must be careful.
There is nothing to celebrate. This is not a success for the police, it is their shame. Because when the warning is published in the media and 50 days pass without action, then we are not dealing with an investigation, but with a ceremonial reaction. Meanwhile, citizens fall into a trap, their savings are lost, and digital crime deepens. The police wake up only to issue an announcement and say that they are “investigating”. But what value is there in an investigation that has been launched after the number of victims has increased?
Instead of being one step ahead, our institutions are always ten steps behind. And not from ignorance. From indifference, from incompetence, from connections that prevent any timely reaction. The pamphlet did its job: it warned. The police did not do their duty: they did not protect the citizens.
That's why we say, Mr. Proda, read us sometime. Because if you had read what we warned in time, today we wouldn't be talking about so many victims, but about prevention. And this is the difference between the media that denounces and the state that does the dirty work./ Pamphlet
