The Special Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigations and sent to trial several people who are accused of inciting and participating in a terrorist organization regarding the recruitment of Albanians in the Syrian war.
The process started today in the Special Court against Almir Daci, Shkëlzen Duman, Mehdi Manalari and Shyqyri Kaca, who are absent.
Meanwhile, some of the women who were in the jihadist camps in Syria but who have been repatriated to whom the charges have been communicated have appeared in the session.
We remind you that regarding this group, investigations were started years ago by the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office.
The prosecution considered the imam of the New Ring mosque, Genci Balla, and the imam of the Mezezi mosque, Bujar Hysa, as organizers.
The preliminary hearing was postponed to October 5 as some of the defendants' lawyers were absent.
