Eftim Mitrevski, the vice-president of the Macedonian Alliance for Integration Party, in an interview with the media, condemned the arrival of the Bulgarian ambassador in Pustec, describing it as open pressure on the Cens profession.
"It is completely abnormal, it is interference in the internal affairs of this country, such as the visit of the ambassador and the deputy. the Bulgarian president, she had to be expelled from Albania, she had to be given an ultimatum, she had to leave the Albanian state and go outside the borders of Albania. How does the Albanian state allow such personalities at the time of the Census to exercise propaganda here, we are Albanian citizens, we are celebrating 100 years since this Albanian state recognized us, with institutions, in no document of the Albanian state does Bulgarian appear. The visit of the Bulgarian ambassador is completely wrong," Mitrevski said.
Meanwhile, the Bulgarian ambassador Ivaylo Kirov said off camera that the donations brought to Pustec hospital are a project started before Censit, the same project that brought a doctor earlier.
Regarding the expectations for the results of Cens, he added that Bulgaria does not fight for numbers and anyone is welcome to express their ethnicity and that it is not the intention to fight with the brothers of North Macedonia.
The Bulgarian ambassador went on to say that he does not feel concerned about the Census process, but the way people see Bulgaria should change.
