The Bulgarian ambassador, Ivaylo Kirov, was visiting Pustec where he participated in donating some hospital equipment to this municipality.
Among other things, he responded to the interest of journalists regarding the Population Census, for which he said that Bulgaria does not fight for numbers.
"Regarding the expectations for the results of the Census, Bulgaria does not fight for numbers and anyone is welcome to express their ethnicity and it is not the intention to fight with the brothers of North Macedonia".
The Bulgarian ambassador went on to say that he does not feel worried about the Census process, but the way people see Bulgaria should change.
Meanwhile, Eftim Mitrevski, the vice-president of the Macedonian Alliance for Integration Party, in an interview with the media, condemned the arrival of the Bulgarian ambassador in Pustec, describing it as open pressure regarding Censin.
