It is known that Beqaj is an important person for Edi Rama because he knows secrets and shared money with Bablok. But it is also known that when Rama sees himself narrowly, he sells his associates and similar cases are numerous. But Beqaj has managed to crawl successfully so far through the saddles of power. For the sterilization file, he managed to convince the Prime Minister to take his former deputy and persons who de facto had nothing in hand in the final decision-making to prison. During this time, a new institution was invented that administers EU funds -SASPAC- and Beqaj became the director. And while the prosecutors approached him shaking his handcuffs, he managed to threaten Romina Kuko and quietly remove her from the post of negotiator for one of the chapters of the stabilization-association agreement and take her place.
It must be said that Ili Beqaj's diabolical mind works like a Swiss watch, almost enviable. Because in this way this chief thief of Albanian health, the initiator of the measures that ultimately destroyed the state health system, hopes to enter the lap of Europeans as innocent and as trustworthy of the Albanian government.
But the facts are very stubborn. Very shortly after he took his comrades to prison, the PPP files in health continue to produce other scandals.
Sterilization is one thing, and with all the videos of doctors praising the (forced) contract, Beqaj still hasn't come out of that story. This is just one, because in the meantime, Vilma Nushi, with the blessing of Ilir Beqaj and the approval of Edi Rama, continues to receive millions for unfinished services with the Check-up contract. It is understood that this is money that is shared, but will there be a culprit for this?
The written data also documented by KLSh show that during 2022 the Check-up concession has received money for 21 thousand unfinished cases because that is what the contract has. Whether the general Check-up analyzes were done or not, Vilma, Iliri and others get the money.
This has happened since the first year when this concession entered into force and continues today.
Will Ilir Beqaj be held responsible for this or will he come out and say that this was the decision of the specialists? Will this chief thief answer for the millions that go to the river even though the work is not done?
