From Nigel Farage to Albin Kurti, the model that is shaking the European establishment is also finding ground in Albania, becoming Edi Rama's biggest political nightmare...

As the second week of the protest passes, the civic movement, already consolidated as a political phenomenon, is creating its own profile.

A profile that has a clear populist concept at its core, which speaks directly to the “belly of the people.” However, this model is carefully studied and does not constitute an “Albanian experiment” at all.

It can even be said without any reservation that the "Party of Anger" has become a political trend throughout the world and especially in Europe.

It has become the 'modus operandi' of both the right and the left.

If parties once mobilized societies through classical ideologies; socialism and capitalism, today the main engine is the anger of the lower and middle classes, which are oriented according to their respective interests and narratives.

In contemporary democracies, the “Party of Anger” is now a constant.

It's happening in the United Kingdom with Nigel Farage, who has become the most prominent political figure of the moment, even though he is the oldest among his rivals.

Farage is riding the anger of white Britons against immigration, liberal elites, bankers and the political status quo.

In Spain, it is the radical right-wing party VOX that is leading the wave of opposition to Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, exploiting dissatisfaction with corruption, immigration and relations with the West.

In France, the Le Pen family's baton has been taken over by Jordan Bardella, who is increasingly seen as the country's next president.

In Germany, this role is played by Alice Weidel's AfD.

In Italy, first there was Beppe Grillo with the "Vaffa" movement, while then Giorgia Meloni perfected the model by transforming popular anger into an instrument of power.

When they came to government, almost all populists moderated and became similar to the establishment they previously attacked.

The clearest example is Donald Trump.

From an anti-war and anti-status quo figure, he has transformed into a neoconservative similar to the George W. Bush era, getting involved in new international conflicts.

Meanwhile, the closest model to us is the Balkan one, where anger mixes with nationalism, national sentiment, and patriotic symbolism.

Serbia was the first laboratory of this model, which was then reflected in various forms throughout the region.

Albin Kurti's "Party of Anger" remains the most successful model so far.

She has won several elections without the support of the large capitalist class, which has continuously invested in overthrowing her.

But he lost.

However, after three consecutive victories, Albin Kurti is also preparing to transition from angry oppositionist to moderate administrator of power, negotiating with the economic factors he previously fought.

So, the "detachment" of experts in engineering political anger has long since arrived in Tirana.

A group that, according to many observers, is present almost every day in the capital's protests.

For Edi Rama, this situation has become a nightmare.

Because you're seeing how the "Party of Anger" is cutting its wings every day.

It is losing MPs.

You are losing allies.

Oligarchs are being targeted by SPAK.

It is losing important economic and political supporters.

It is also losing the strong men who until yesterday guaranteed control of the terrain.

For two years in a row, Edi Rama managed to attract to Albania a portion of the capital that he traditionally invested in Kosovo.

Through permits, licenses, and favors, he transferred a portion of the investments to Albania.

But if the tourist season is damaged, as appears to be happening, this hemorrhage will accelerate.

And with it, the "treasure" of power will fall.

While the "Party of Anger" will grow even more.

Because the ground is ready.

Fueled by arrogance, abuses, and the long fatigue of power.

But also from the efficiency of what is now emerging as a powerful online machine, which is dismantling the most important weapon that has kept Edi Rama in power for more than a decade: Propaganda./ Pamphlet
