The euro starts the week with a decline, down to 104 ALL

The European currency started the week with a significant weakening against the lek. According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, one euro is being exchanged for around 104 lek, the lowest level recorded since August.

This is apparently the first effect of the Bank of Albania's decision to increase the base interest rate to 3.25%.

The data of the exchange rate of the Central Bank show that the month of November is also confirming the strong positions of the Lek in the foreign exchange rate, even though the peak period of the tourist season has passed, the European currency has not managed to experience a stable strengthening.
